Jiangsu Highstar Chemical Power Source Co., Ltd. is a professional battery manufacturer that produces sintered Ni-MH, Ni-CD secondary battery, Lithium-polymer and Li-ion battery. It is a key high-tech enterprise of state, an appointed manufacturer for the military in China, one of the 100 stronger enterprises of Chinese electronic components, and one of the biggest secondary battery manufacturer and exporter in China at present. It possess more than 30, 000 square meter modern plant, 250, 000, 000 assets and over 300 primary & senior technicians.

The alkaline battery production line that epitomized the advanced technology of internal semi-sintered Ni-CD battery was set up in 1992. In order to meet the customers' higher requirements continuously, the company insists on the updating of technique, technology and equipments. We introduced the Electrical Deposited equipment and technology from Israel in 1995. In 1997, we also introduced the testing equipment for battery from the Arbin Co. of American and automatic assembly line for cylindrical battery from RD Company. In 2000, we introduced the full set of sintered battery plate production line from VARTA Company of Germany, including the sinter oven for positive & negative plate, the vacuum impregnation system, the linear-formation line for positive plate, and the after-treatment system of plate, which make production level of our plates reach the world advanced level and our battery be the best professional battery in domestic area.

Highstar produces the new products with international competition continuously while introducing advanced equipment and technology from foreign country. Highstar's high power, high-Temp & low-Temp Ni-MH battery, and high power, high-Temp & low-Temp Ni-CD battery reach the international advanced level, many different type of Ni-MH battery and Li-ion battery obtain the title of new products of state.

Highstar's annual production capacity is 200 million ampere hours for all kinds batteries. It includes four kinds of Ni-MH, Ni-CD, Lithium-polymer and Li-ion battery, over thirty series and three hundred types, Highstar exploits the international market while sales in domestic market, the products are exported more than 40 countries and zones in the world, in these products, there are many products are appointed using by many famous company of domestic and overseas, several series of products are appointed to purchase by Chinese army.
