CPI was founded by Dr. Daniel C.H. Cheng, an experienced pharmaceutical scientist, chemical engineer and entrepreneur,in October, 1995.It was established with capital investmentfrom Taiwanese investors.The management team was organizedwith personnel recruited from a variety of disciplines whichinclude pharmacy,molecular biology, chemical engineering,chemistry, accounting, finance and MBA.CPI was accepted to enter the Hsinchu Science-Based Industrial Park (HSIP)in March 1996.It was officially accredited as a companyin July 1996.The initial objectives are to develop, manufactureand market TDDS, animal vaccine adjuvants and wound care medical products.The ultimate goals are to become a fullyintegrated multi-national pharmaceutical company.
