MATERIALS PROCUREMENT - SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Our Materials Procurement Department provides procurement and supply chain
services in support of the company's projects. These services include project supply
chain management, purchasing, subcontracting, expediting and vendor assessment
services. We ensure that goods and services are delivered to the right quality
standards, on time and within budget.

One of our objectives is to recognize suppliers and partners and to promote
suitably approved suppliers to key supplier or partner status. This process is
designed to develop and/or strengthen long-term collaborative relationships and to
recognize best practice, market leaders and progressive, innovative members of
the supply chain. It is also consistent with our policy to reduce our supply chain by
objective selection. The benefits from our processes are as follows:

  efficiency can be benchmarked for performance measurement.
  
  Costing can be established based on supply arrangements using traditional
  procurement methods. However, smarter solutions including supply arrangements
  based on the provision of a “managed service” - whereby the supplier has to
  consider the life cycle cost of the equipment that they are supplying - can result in
  efficiencies being made.

  BUNKERING
  We specialize in providing bunker in all Ghanaian ports and offer an all round
  service, a rapid response time and proactive
  logistics solutions. Our bunkering terminal includes storage for all grades of fuel oil

  
  

  (minimum quantity for blended fuel oil is 100
  MT) and blends are tested in-house prior to
  release. Bunker deliveries typically total over
  250,000MT per annum to over 400 ships most
  of which are carried out by bunkering tanker,

  Ship Management
  Ship Management offers a complete range of integrated marine services.
  These services includes downstream which can be categorized into
  bunkering, lubricants and haulage services.

  
  

  Bunker is a compartment which is used by the ships machinery for the
  storage of fuel oil. Therefore bunkering is the act of taking in bunkers
  onboard the ship.
  
  Also ships contain goods and with the transportation of these goods supplied
  to or from the vessel is termed as haulage services and can also be related
  to freight and logistics.
