Isu Ceramics Co., Ltd

Isu was founded in January of 1969 as a Korean pioneer in the production of Alkyl Benzene (AB) as basic material for synthetic detergents and other products, and the Branched Alkyl Benzene (BAB) plant was completed in February of 1973 with an original annual production capacity of 13,000 metric tons. Following the government promotion of development of Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB), Isu completed a new LAB plant in August of 1980 to upgrade detergent materials for improved hygiene in daily life and at the same time to contribute to further national economic development. Since then, Isu, through several expansion projects, has brought annual production capacity to 160,000 metric tons. Thus the company has become a world-class producer of Alkyl Benzene (AB), and about 70% its production is exported to Southeast Asia and other areas of the world.
