The company takes many operation ways such as sel-supporting importing and exporting and agent system. The main exported products of thermo-power source at the present stage are motorcycle engine, minicar engine, ship and boat engine, general power gasoline engine. Terminal products include motorcycle, speedboat, various power machinery and equipment, etc. these products have been exported to more than 50 countries and regions in Asia, America, Africa, and Europe. The company has established offices in major export countries and regions such as Vietnam, Indonesia and Nigeria, and has set up monopoly sales center and service center. In 2001, it earned foreign exchange of more than US dollars 60 million through export.

The company thinks highly of intellectual property protection and has registered ZONGSHEN trademark in 40 countries and regions. Up to August in 2002, Zongshen has asked for 184 pieces of patent protection from China National Patent Administration.
