For the last 34years, we have been developed high functional mountaineering apparel and gears for pioneers in the country, and now become one of leading companies in the area of mountaineering and outdoor products business. In 1973, the time when ordinary people did not have any idea about the mountaineering & outdoors, we have already started to think about the professional and adventurous products for few expert mountaineers at the moment. And produce backpack series and outdoor apparel totally different from the existed casual ones. As we have been developing and producing the mountaineering apparel and gears, we have continuously asked questions to ourselves for mountaineering culture and high-tech products, and have been trying our best to find the fight answer.

We had started outdoor apparel with waterproof rain jacket, and as we had
GORE-TEK LCENSE in 1996, we took great steps to produce world-class high functional goods. Now, we are become one of major users of high-tech material and producing world-class mountain apparel and gears. Also, we have started sponsoring expedition teams and sharing experience since 1978. We sponsored expedition teams of Mont Blank (4807M) in 1983. Cho Oyu(8201M)/Shisha Pangma (8027M) in1993. Annapurna   (8091M)/ Kanchenjunga (8586M) in 1997. Annapurna (8091M) in 2000 and Everest   (8850M ) in 2003.

BLACKYAK has grown into a brand of specialty and high functional mountaineering apparel and gears. We have developed for the last 34 years with mountaineering and outdoor apparel and gears.
