China National Electric Wire & Cable Imp/Exp Corp.

For the adaptation of development in foreign trade China National Electric Wire & Cable Imp/Exp. Corporation (CCC) was established in march 1981 The State Import & Export Commission further assigned and approved CCC as a specialized foreign trade body in charge of export in the field of electric wire, cable and its accessories in China. In addition, CCC is capable of undertaking turnkey projects of power transmission and distribution both at home and abroad.

CCC is composed by integration fifty-four large and medium size wire and cable manufacturers along with one electric cable research institute in Shanghai and five engineering companies in the field of power, communication and design all over the china. All of the members are the holder of ISO 9000 certificate. The total capital among all those member units reaches up to approx. 300 million U. S. dollars with its employees of over 55, 000 in which about 5, 000 qualified engineers and technicians.

The main business scope of CCC is as follows:
1. Supplying a variety of electric wires, magnet wires and cables for electric equipment, power cables, telecommunication cable, optical fiber cable and all accessories for different kinds of cables. They are made in accordance with Chinese Standards (JB GB) as well as international standards such as IEC, BS, AS, DIN/VDE, JIS, and ASTM etc. It is also possible to design produce and provide wire and cable products as per customer's specifications.
2. Undertaking import business of raw materials, semi-products for producing electric wire and cable and its accessories.
3. Developing and promoting the cooperation of international trade and acting as agent for foreign companies and enterprises in China.
4. Implementing projects of extra high-tension power transmission and distribution and substation including design, supply, erection, installation, testing and commissioning.

The corporation, during its twenty years of existence, has supplied various kinds of electric wire and cable products with its accessories to more than eighty countries and regions such as U. S. A., U. K., Greece, Finland, Pakistan Bahrain, Jordan, Saudi, Arabia, Cyprus, Egypt, Togo, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa, Brazil, Hong Kong, Macao and etc. All goods and projects supplied and completed by CCC is enjoying a good reputation in the world market for their high quality and competitive prices. Some of them have been awarded inspection certificate issued by those well-known organizations E. G. British crown agents, Lloyd's register of shipping, Underwritten Laboratory (UL) and other inspection bodies.

CCC also pays great attention to contracting power transmission projects on turnkey basis. Nowadays, four such kinds of projects have been completed. One is 132kV oil filled underground cable lines with fiber optical cable and its accessories in Cyprus. One is nine 132kV oil filled underground cable lines in Pakistan; one is two 220kv oil filled underground cable lines with its accessories in Bahrain. Another one is fifteen grid substations in Bangladesh. Besides, one project of 132/11kV sub station is executing in Kuwait.

Mentioned-above has been passed the relevant tests conducted in both manufacturer's lab and N. V. KEMA high voltage laboratory, Netherlands with the presence of purchaser's engineer to verify and witness the tests. The good results that have achieved from the turnkey projects have won a quite satisfaction from the end-users.
