SMEC Co., Ltd. was established in 1988, as a subsidiary of Samsung Co., Ltd., to produce precision tools.
Our main products are large, medium and small size CNC lathes, CNC machining centers and large 5-si
ded processing machinery.
In 1989, we started producing CNC machines in technical cooperation with OKK, Japan (machin
ing centers), Mori Seiki, Japan (lathes), and Toshiba (5-sided processing machinery). In February 1994, we developed a CNC & machining center in cooperation with Samsung Electronic Co., Ltd. and participated in SIMTOS (Seoul International Machine Tool Operation Show).
We supply around half of our products to the domestic market and export the rest to America and Europe
. We are also in the process of expanding our market range to Southeast Asia and China.
