Founded in August 2000, Strait Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd Quanzhou, Fujian, has a registered capital of US?4 million which is wholly invested by Mr Koh Chi Yim, Managing Director of Sinitic Chinese Medicine Pte Ltd in Singapore. We are one of the key foreign enterprises in Quanzhou, Fujian that possesses the right to import and export. The total land area of Strait Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd is 28,000 square meters and has a buildup area of 13,000 square meters. We are able to produce 100 million injections, 300 million tablets, 50 to 100 million capsules, 5 million granules and extraction of 300 tons of Chinese medicine a year.
In February 2003, we achieved the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standard and were awarded the P
eople?s Republic of China Drug GMP certificate by the State Drug Adminstration. We are the first medical company in Fujian to receive the GMP certification.
