A tree of strawberry called bokbunja which is a lump of red grains, lives in the mountains. The tree has curved branches and thorns, reaching 3 meters-high. It was used as a cure in Chinese medicine. In Korea it lives in hwang-hae-do and Jun-Buk. It also exists in Japan and China. It is qualified as a good medicinal stuff. The fruit ripens jin June July. It's dark red and tastes sweet and sourish.

Bokbunja is a sort of winder of a latifoliate tree. Several stems make clumps, spread on all si
