A tree of strawberry called bokbunja which is a lump of red grains, lives in the mountains. The tree has curved branches and thorns, reaching 3 meters-high. It was used as a cure in Chinese medicine. Bokbunja is a sort of winder of a latifoliate tree. Several stems make clumps, spread on all si
des, and are covered with white powders. The leaves form an oval shape and have double sawteeth. These flowers bloom in May to June, and the fruits ripen in July to August. The color of the fruits changes from the purple to the black with the time.
