How we got started
I stumbled upon the idea for this business while p
ursuing a hobby, the restoration of classic sports cars. I wanted to add a stereo to an old Porsche, but I couldn't find a local retailer or a mail order company to provide one. Reasoning that there were surely other automobile enthusiasts like myself facing the same problem, I decided to create my own mail order car stereo business.
In March of 1998, I started Electron
ics Sale. What I learned from those surveys saved this business and became the foundation for our success.
Here's what
I learned: First, car stereo customers were hungry for know-how about installing this specialized audio equipment. And second, they placed enormous value on customer service.
What we believe:
Electronics Sale has grown tremendously since th
ose early days, but we haven't forgotten what made--and keeps--us successful: exceeding the expectations of each one of our customers, every day.
In bestowing us a gold award for achievement, Catalog Age magazine called us the "King of Service."
