Nanjing Iveco Motor Co., Ltd. is a joint-venture founded in 1996 between Iveco S. P. A. Italy and Nanjing Automotive Corporation in China. The registered capital is 460 million USD. Actually since 1992, Chinese government and Italian governmetn have started this cooperative project and been introducing Iveco technique into China. Now Nanjing Iveco Motor Co., Ltd. consists of 5 plants (Engine Plant, Axle Plant, Body Plant, Gearbox Plang and Assembly Plant) and 10 divisions, having the empolyees of around 3500.
