HANGANG Industry Co.

Established in 1978, Hangang Industry Co. specializes in the manufacture of industrial oil, fuel, and air filters. Major domestic clients include the Korea National Railroad Corporation and the Korea Electric Power Co., Ltd., while international customers include Luber Finer in the USA, SCT in Germany, and the Basis Group in Russia. The company also produces a comprehensive range of more than a thousand automotive oil filters for most American, German, Japanese, and Korean automobiles. The company can supply on an OEM basis or under its own label, and offers design and engineering services.


The company invests some US$800,000 annually in research and development. By selecting the highest quality filter paper and applying its technological expertise, the company can produce filters, with a 99 percent filtering efficiency, specially designed for various kinds of equipment and engines.
