Beijing Second Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which is established as a joint venture of the main body Beijing second Pharmaceutical factory, and the other two partners-Nantian Electronic Information Co., Ltd. and Beijing Municipal State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. is a newly founded large-scale high and new technology pharmaceutical company.

Beijing second Pharmaceutical factory has grown into a modern large-scale comprehensive pharmaceutical enterprise equipped with advanced technologies and facilities since its foundation originally in 1958. It manufactures over hundred of raw pharmaceuticals and finished pharmaceuticals. Raw pharmaceuticals are mainly produced for exporting to more than forty countries and regions. One of raw pharmaceuticals---Sulfamethazine was approved by FDA early in 1984. Taking the advantage of a promising sales network throughout more than thirty large-scale and middle-scale cities in P. R. China, finished pharmaceuticals, including tablets, capsules, powder for injections, lyophilized powder for injections, and ointments, which were granted national GMP Certificate at a time in 2002, are mainly sold in domestic market.
