DoDaam Systems Ltd.

DoDaam Systems Ltd. is an independent venture capital company spun off from Korea Aerospace Industries, the prime contractor of the next generation indigenous advanced trainer T-50 development for the Republic of Korea Air Force. KAI was formed to fit in with the worldwide trend of strategic consolidation. On October 1, 1999, Daewoo Heavy Industries (DHI), Samsung Aerospace (SSA) and Hyundai Space and Aircraft (HYSA), the three former Korean aerospace companies, mutually agreed to consolidate their aerospace business to form what is now called Korea Aerospace Industries, Ltd.

t significance to the whole aerospace industry of Korea in that the establishment of technically specialized companies is a worldwide trend. KAI will concentrate on the integration and the development of whole aircraft system. DoDaam Systems Ltd. will be fully responsible for the development of Simulators, Visual Data Bases, Support Systems, Maintenance equipment, and Software. Currently DoDaam Systems Ltd. is extending and diversifying its business areas from simulators to defense & avionics as well as unmanned systems.
