It is the largest anti-oxygen manufacturing base with the most advanced equipment and the highest scientific level.

Located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province and Jinshan District, Shanghai respectively, the 2 enterprises under Jinhai Albemarle, an enterprise family, hold a total asset of RMB 445 million Yuan with 410 employees.

The shareholders of Jinhai Albemarle are SINOPEC Shanghai Petrochemical Co. Ltd., Ningbo Jinhai Science & Technology Investment Co., Ltd and Albemarle Corporation in America respectively.

The product profile of Jinhai Albemarle covers: anti-oxygen series, alkyl phenol series, compound stabilizer series of specific polymer for the demand of Petrochemical and downstream modified users. Its annual production capacity of anti-oxygen, alkyl phenol, and compound stabilizer are 10000 Tons, 15000 Tons, and 3000 Tons respectively. Its production, control equipment, and product check system has scaled the world first-class level.

Meanwhile, we founded joint venture--Shanghai Sud-Chemie Jinhai Catalysts Co., Ltd with Sud-Chemie AG in Germany, which engaging in research and manufacture of catalyst with annual capacity of 100MT.

We have established a research & development base of anti-oxygen in Shanghai. We also own a technical center at provincial level in Ningbo, specializing in the product research & development of anti-oxygen. Meanwhile, the Technical Centers of Albemarle Corporation in America and Belgium provide the technical support for Jinhai Albemarle, too. Fruitful technical results have been achieved after years of efforts: its compound anti-oxygen product series won the 2nd prize of national new product in 1995; anti-oxygen AT-3114 has been enlisted in the National Torch Program; dry granulation technology of anti-oxygen, PP polymerized ball-shaped, particle-shaped catalysts have applied the patents in China. In view of the its outstanding achievements in the field of anti-oxygen, the company has been recommended by China Auxiliary Association as the major drafting unit of industry standard for anti-oxygen 1010, 1076, 168, 3114, 626. Ningbo Jinhai Albemarle Chemical & Industry Co., Ltd has been confirmed by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2002 as the national level high and new-tech enterprise.

Our products cover most of the domestic petrochemical enterprises while its market share of anti-oxygen products series ranks No. 1 compared to its counterparts in China. Meanwhile, one-third of its anti-oxygen products export to the overseas market.
