In the past years, Harderlloy has provided the new generation product line of flux-cored wire and surfacing services to its target market of electric power plant, non ferrous metal, mining, construction, cement industries etc. The open arc wire has covered most of the national market, especially in eastern area, the product has gain a very good application and reputation.



The surfacing recovery service of coal mill roller is also a main business of Harderlloy. We have served about 50 domestic medium to large scale electric power plants on their various grinding rolls and millstones. The working hour after recovery services is more than 20,000 hours.



In 2002, Harderlloy developed the advanced wear plate product line in China. After a half year of market trial, the customers were totally satisfied with the plate's performances, so it has become one of the main product line of Harderlloy now, and also a well-known new product of Chinese market.



Harderlloy Wear Plate is a composite plate consisting of a common carbon steel base plate and an alloyed wear resistant cladding of self produced high hardness self shielded open arc wire. The carbide of the wear plate's fine texture was fiberized distributed, and the fiber's direction is vertical to the plate surface, while the surface hardness could gain to HRc62 above. In a typical temperature range, there will be second hardening, which might improve its wear resistant performances and make the hardness 30-50 times compared to common carbon steel.
Because Harderlloy Wear Plate utilizes dedicated process techniques, the wear resistant layer is breadthwise cracked, so the plate could be lengthways bended. So, although the wear plate's hardness is above HRc60, but it could be cut, bended, drilled, welded, and could have all the machining method just like a common carbon steel plate.

Harderlloy Wear Plate's wear resistant layer was composed mainly of high chromium, and also of manganese, molybdenum, columbium etc. The alloy carbide has a strong stability in high temperature environment, and also a high hardness and good oxidation-inhibitory performance, it could be normally used under 500 â„?.

It is metallurgy joined between Harderlloy Wear Plate's base plate and wear resistant layer. While the fiberized distributed high hardness carbide was set on high toughness base plate, the wear plate gains both the performances of high hardness and high toughness. So it has good impact resistance capability and will not shed in the working environment.

Compared to other domestic products, Harderlloy Wear Plate has another characteristic of smooth and pretty surface which expand its applicability.
