Shenzhen State Micro Technology Co., Ltd., (SMiT), established in October 2003, is a high-tech company specialized in the development and sales of digital TV products with proprietary intellectual property rights and core technologies. SMiT has not only an outstanding development team offering advanced products from large scale integrated circuit chips to integrated system solutions, but also has internationalized market vision, abundant capital support, and excellent management experience.
As an active advocator and supporter of the national policy of DVB-CI for digital TV industry, SMiT was the first in the nation to produce the completely home-made CA modules for digital TV receiving. SMiT aims to promote China's digital TV manufacturing and operation industries by means of developing, producing and selling digital TV CA modules, value-added functional modules, and integrated digital TV solutions.
Under the vigorous support of the State Commission of Development and Reform, the Ministry of Information Industry, and the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, SMiT is a key member of the national committee of China' Common Interface Standard and the leading local supplier of CA modules with PCMCIA interface in China. SMiT has obtained the authorization or certification from major CA suppliers in the country including DTVIA, Irdeto Access, Novel-Tongfang, Compunicate, DVN, Sumavision and Cryptoworks to sell various CA Modules in the markets.
Maintaining close cooperation with major domestic color TV manufacturers including SKYWORTH, TCL, CHANGHONG, KONKA, HISENSE, XOCECO, SOYEA and AMOI, and renowned chip suppliers at home and abroad, SMiT keeps on expanding its product lines to meet the growing need of the upgrading of over 400 million analog TVs in China and the need of the global digital TV markets. With its mission to drive the development of national technologies and to advance China's igital TV industry, SMiT will make consistent efforts to build a more brilliant future.
