Waldsang Musical Instrument Manufacturing (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. is a Sino-Singapore joint venture between the Chinese expert violinmaker, Mr Jianhua Wang, and Musicore Group from Singapore. Its business operations include R&D, manufacturing, repair and sale of stringed instruments, as well as the maintenance of antique instruments. Under the brands of ?Waldsang? and ?Haiqu?, its products have been exported worldwide, to countries in North America, Europe, South-East Asia and Japan.
The factory occupies an area of more than 1000 square meters, and is specially equipped with its own kiln room. Strin
gent quality control takes place at every step of production, from the selection of timber to the final setting up of the instruments. Waldsang is proud to employ a large group of qualified violinmakers, some of whom have more than ten years of experience in the field. The factory?s general manager, Mr Jianhua Wang, is himself a graduate from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in Stringed Instrument Making. Today, Waldsang?s instruments continue to receive favourable appraisal from professionals, both inside and outside of China.
