Custom rubber products are produced and distributed for a variety of industrial applications including transportation, medical, healthcare and another variety of applications. But I am sure that you will not be aware with the process of extruded rubber. The most popular method for extruding rubber is to feed an uncured rubber compound with the help of a screw machine. It heats up in this process and forced under certain amount of pressure through the die. When it exits the die orifice, it gets into the desired shape, the rubber gets swelled. Rubber is extruded for sealing, noise control, vibration control and decorative trim. Some of the standard shapes in which rubber is extruded and available are U- Channels, P- profiles and other unique shapes. Mostly weather resistant EPDM or SBR are our standard rubber extrusions. Silicone, neoprene, viton and Buna- N are also available for higher level of performance.
