DEFINITION
A stand alone solar photo voltaic street lighting system aims to provide solar electricity for operating overnight lights on streets. It comprises of Solar PV modules, LED lamp, Deep cycle battery,charge controller, inter-connecting wires/cables, mounting hardware, battery box, and operation instruction.
OPERATION
The system is designed to automatically switch ON at dusk, operate throughout the night and automatically switch OFF at dawn.

INSTALLATION OF SYSTEM
The system will be installed at site. The SPV module mounting structure along with pole will be properly grouted depending upon the location of the site. The grouting will be such that it should withstand the maximum wind speed/storm.
