Smith BioMed (NZ) Ltd.,is an importer / distributer of a range of medical diagnostics, specialising in rapid on-site drug testing systems. It has supply contracts with New Zealand government agencies. Other markets include hospitals; re-habilitation centres; high safety risk iindustries such as airline,forestry;meat producing and construction. It is privately owned and has been trading successfully for some 8 years now. Due to a cancelled government contract it has currently excess stock of pregnancy which it will sell overseas.
