It is a multi-millionaire group consisting of various companies engaged in diversified activities such as manufacturing of Sponge Iron, Billets, Steel, Power Plant, Induction, Fish breeding, Real properties, Films production. etc.
The main line of activity of the Group is Sponge Iron manufacturing and its integrated facilities. At present, the following companies engaged in steel and other industries are as under :-
1) Ma Chinnamastika Sponge Iron Limited
Located at Ramgarh Cantonment in the State of Jharkhand with Sponge Iron manufacturing capacity of 240 TPD and Induction Furnace of 12 Tons x 2.
2) Ma Chhinnamastika Steel & Power Limited
1. Located at Village Madandih, District Purulia in the State of West Bengal with a Sponge Iron manufacturing capacity of 100 x 3 TPD.
2. Power Plant - 12 MW plant under erection
3. Induction & Concast unit - 12 MT x 2 under erection.
3) Shri Venkateshwara Power & Sponge Private Limited
Located at Industrial Estate, Merrlapaka Village,.Yerpedu Mandlal, District Chittoor in the State of Andhra Pradesh with :
1. Sponge Iron manufacturing capacity of 100 x 3 TPD
2. Power Plant of 12 MW capacity under erection.
3. Induction unit of 12 MT x 2 under erection.
4) Ma Chhinnmastika Cement & Ispat Private Limited
Located at Hehal Village, P.O.Barkakana, Ramgarh Cantonment District Hazaribagh in the State of Jharkhand with a capacity of 300 TPD ( First 100 TPD in operation, Second 100 TPD under completion and the 3rd 100 TPD under erection).
5) Export
a) One of the above steel manufacturing companies namely Ma Chhinnamastika Steel & Power Limited are engaged in export of Iron Ore Fines. They have completed shipment of a few consignments and are now planning for minimum two continuous shipments of Iron Ore Fines every month.
b) One of our Group companies has exported fish in earlier years bred from its ponds located at Digha.
6) Import
The other company of the Group namely Ma Chinnamastika Sponge Iron Limited have arrangements for import of scrap for its Induction furnace and also for marketing.
7) Integrated Steel Plant and Mines
The Group has acquired 50 acres of land in the State of Orissa near Bonai for setting up an integrated steel plant for which necessary actions are in hand and the MoU is under process. Acquisition of Iron Ore mines and also Coal mines are under arrangement.
8) Phamaceutical Division
One of the Group companies is also engaged in manufacturing medicines in India. The company is also planning to export medicines abroad.
9) Films Division
The Group is also engaged in making Feature Films both in Bengali and Hindi.
10) Real Estate
The Group is going to enter in Real Estate business for which land has already been acquired.
